Meet Our Emcee: Kristen Currie!
We’re so excited and honored to have Kristen Currie, Morning Meteorologist at KXAN News, serving as emcee for the Women of Worth Celebration!
A proud Dripping Springs resident since 2020, Kristen brings warmth, energy, and local heart to the stage. Originally from Southern California, she earned her degree in Environmental Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder before beginning her meteorology career in Lubbock, with stops in Albuquerque and Austin along the way.
Beyond the forecast, Kristen is passionate about sharing her love of weather and science, often visiting classrooms to inspire young learners.
We’re thrilled to have this bright local voice helping us celebrate the women who lead, lift, and inspire our community!
Music from the Lockhearts
A Texas duo, The Lockhearts have been captivating audiences with their blood harmonies and undeniable talent. Singing together since they could talk, their bond shines through in every note they share.
The sisters discovered their passion for songwriting at an early age, penning their first song together at 5 and 7 years old. Within just a few years, Paige and Kate were regularly infusing their tunes with all the matters of their life, heart,and soul, setting the foundation for their devotion to music.
Known for their rich harmonies and deeply personal lyrics, The Lockhearts continue to write music that resonates with listeners. Whether performing on stage or creating in their Austin home, they bring authenticity and passion to everything they do, proving that their sisterly connection is the heart of their music.

Hi, I’m Lisa!
For almost 10 years, I’ve been creating retreats and experiences that bring women together to laugh, heal, dance, grow, and remember who they are. I've also lived in Dripping Springs for almost 20 years. The women I meet at my retreats and in our community inspire me every single day.
I believe with all my heart that every single woman is a woman of worth.
While we'll celebrate a few remarkable women on stage at The Women Of Worth (WOW) Celebration, our hope is that every woman leaves remembering she is, and always has been, a Woman of Worth. The awards during the celebration recognize a few inspiring stories, but they celebrate a truth that belongs to us all: every woman has inherent worth, unique gifts, and the power to make a difference.

The one who lifts.
The one who inspires.
The woman who makes you stop and say… “WOW!”
Some may ask, "Why women and not everyone?"
Here's my answer... One thing I always say at my women's retreats is this: This is not about ignoring all the wonderful men. It’s about lifting women up. There are wonderful men in this world. I’m lucky to have some in my own life, including a husband and son. But every woman in Dripping Springs is quietly changing lives, building community, showing up for others, and making this world brighter in ways that often go unnoticed.
That is the heart of this event. It's not about creating winners. It's about helping women remember something that was true long before anyone stepped onto the stage.
I hope you’ll celebrate yourself and all the women in our community! ✨
