Today is the last day. Thank you to everyone who put up with my musings throughout the month. I’ve had a blast.
I hope at least one thing resonated with you.
This month was about loving your life, loving your work. But mostly, this month was about loving who you are.
Here’s what I wanted us (me included!) to take away from this month:
love yourself unconditionally
stop giving a damn about what others think
stop focusing on what you’re doing wrong and focus on what you’re doing right
focus on what will truly make your heart sing
So, it’s the last day and I’m changing it up. Sure, I want you to be nice to people and offer kindness to others. But do me a favor and be kind to yourself, first.
I’m ending this month with one of my daughter’s favorite quotes. (Yes, my 15-year-old daughter sometimes gets it more than me.)
You were born for a reason. Find what that is. Find what your passion is and show it to the world.
Be that bright orange crayon in pile of muted colors.
Wear those crazy socks when everyone else is wearing brown.
Be that fruit loop in a world full of cheerios.
Wear that red cape.
No more blending in. The world needs you to stand out.
